This New Moon evening we sit in ceremonial circle and share about who we want to offer up our song to. Who was she who touched you and helped make you the person you are today? Who survived so you could come into this world? And who was she for the world? Share with us your stories of these women, let their memories live on through us. We gather as women in circle to commemorate these women and sing to them and in honour. Let us not forget how special our ancestors are, for we are all on our way to being them for the younger generations.

Bring a photo of her if you have one and a candle as a symbol of her presence. If you do not have a candle one will be provided for you. We will light a flame for every name mentioned and sit around our sacred fire with them by our side. You may also want to bring a pillow or bolster to sit on as space is limited.

This circle is for all self identifying women, open to any age. This is offered by donations based on your sense of the value for this event.
